How does the archive user function work?
What is the purpose of Archiving Users?
Keeping rosters organized is easier with Archive Users, a feature designed to help coaches and trainers manage athletes efficiently without losing valuable training data. With Archiving Users, coaches and trainers can remove inactive users from their active roster while preserving their training history. This means you can declutter your user lists and free up athlete seats without permanently deleting records. If an athlete returns, reactivating them is simple—no need to send a new invite or start from scratch.
How It Works
How do I archive an athlete?
-From the Users Index, coaches and trainers can archive athletes to remove them from active rosters and dashboards.
What happens when an athlete is archived?
-They can’t log workouts or receive assigned programs.
-They won’t appear in active reports, dashboards, or analytics. (This is depending on when they were archived. For example, if an user was active in January, they’ll show up in any metrics pulled for January)
-They no longer count against the athlete cap, making room for new users.
-Their status is clearly marked as Archived for easy tracking.
When can I unarchive an athlete?
-Unarchive anytime: If an athlete returns, restoring their status is seamless—no need to resend an invite or recreate their profile.
Bulk Actions for Faster Updates
For teams with larger rosters, bulk archiving and unarchiving make it easy to update multiple athletes at once, reducing administrative work and improving efficiency.
