Training Summaries: Review, Celebrate, and Share Your Workouts
Training doesn’t stop when the last set is done. With Training Summaries, Volt gives you an instant snapshot of your workout the moment you finish — making it easier to understand your progress, celebrate wins, and share your effort with others.
What is a Training Summary?
A Training Summary is a post-workout recap that automatically appears after you complete a Workout in the Volt Training App.
It highlights your key performance stats from that session, including strength gains, milestones, and consistency — all in one clear, shareable view.
Think of it as your workout’s highlight reel.

When does a Training Summary appear?
A Training Summary will automatically pop up when:
- You complete a Workout activity (not Warm-Ups, Primers, or Finishers)
- The workout is marked as Done
No extra taps required — the summary appears instantly after completion.
*Note: Training Summaries are currently generated at the activity (workout) level, not the full session/day level.
What’s included in a Training Summary?
Each summary is personalized based on what happened in that workout. Depending on your session, you may see:
📈 Estimated 1RM (e1RM) Gains
- Any new e1RM improvements recorded during the workout
- The percentage increase since your previous best
- Only shown when enough data is logged to calculate an e1RM
🏆 Achievements Unlocked
- Workout, streak, or weight milestones earned during that session
- If you unlocked an achievement, you’ll see it called out here
🔥 Current Workout Streak
- A snapshot of your current weekly workout streak
- Reinforces consistency and momentum
🔢 Total Workouts Completed
- Your lifetime workout count in Volt, updated in real time
📊 Enhanced Visual Stats
- Updated visuals for:
- Total weight lifted (tonnage)
- Sets completed
- Activity focus or movement patterns
- Designed to make your training trends easier to understand at a glance
Not every summary will include every stat — what you see depends on the data logged during that workout.
How do I share my Training Summary?
Sharing is built right into the summary screen.
From your Training Summary, you can:
- Share directly via text, social media, or other apps
- Post your results with a single tap
Sharing is optional — your summary is yours whether you share it or not.
Why don’t I see certain stats?
Some stats require specific data to be logged. For example:
- e1RM gains require logged weights, reps, and RPE across multiple workouts
- Achievements only appear if you crossed a milestone during that session
If a stat doesn’t appear, it usually means there wasn’t enough data yet — not that anything is wrong.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do Training Summaries include Warm-Ups, Primers, Finishers, Conditioning, or Drill activities?
Yes. You can view a Training Summary of any activity you complete in Volt. However, during your session flow, we’ll only pop the summary for your Workout (primary) activity only — to keep you in the zone.
Can I view old Training Summaries?
Yes. You can view a Training Summary for any activity from your History tab.
Are Training Summaries available to coaches?
Yes. Coaches can view Training Summaries in the Volt Coach Dashboard. However, shareable summary snapshots are only available to athletes in the Volt Training App.
